Our pastor, Jonathan Sullivan, and his wife Jennifer joined us in December of 2011.  They have two children:  Lawson and Addison.  This is Bro. Jonathan's first pastorate; however, he has previously  held other positions in church ministry.   Both he and Jennifer are graduates of Wayland Baptist University.  We are looking foward to a long term of serving the Lord together.

Chad has served as our part-time youth minister since 2002.  Chad and his wife, Katie, have two children - Kalebh and Kaileigh - who keep them very busy.  Chad is also a Production Manager for Monsanto.

Phil Cotham has served as our part-time Music Minister since 2002. Phil is the Superintendent for the Lockney I.S.D. Phil and his wife, Cindy, have two boys. Todd is a student at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, and Landon is a student at South Plains College.

Zelda  taught English and computers in the public school system for 34 years.  Since retiring from teaching, Zelda taught briefly for Wayland Baptist University's Community Classroom before joining the staff at First Baptist Church as Secretary in 2006. She and her husband, Terry, have one daughter, Tiffany, and two grandchildren Kallin and Madi. Tiffany's family lives in Abilene, Texas.

Zelda also serves as the church organist.  She starting playing at her home church as pianist at age 11 and has been playing piano or organ at churches ever since.  "I am not  really an organist, but there doesn't seem to be many of "those" around, so I have the privilege of serving in that position.  And I LOVE playing music with Ann!"

Edith Cook  started serving as our Nursery Supervisor in 2008.   We are SO blessed to have her!  Edith also works as secretary at Lockney Junior High School.

Brenda is a very busy woman.  She is a mom, works as an aide at Lockney ISD, and serves as custodian to other churches besides ours.  She still always finds time to help MANY people when there is a need.  When a need arises, we tend to "call Brenda." 

Brenda has served as our Custodian since 1994.  Brenda is a very godly woman, fantastic at her job, and we are EXTREMELY blessed to have her! 

Ann Race is the long-time church pianist.  She has two grown sons, Carl and Randy, who have families of their own. She has a wonderful, God-given musical talent.  Everyone delights in listening to her music.  We thank God for Ann and what she adds to our worship services.
